Stephen King

📚 Stephen Edwin King (born September 21, 1947) is an American author best known for his enormously popular and critically acclaimed works of horror, suspense, crime, science-fiction and fantasy. Born in Portland, Maine, King had a turbulent family life as a child, with his parents separating when he was young. He attended the University of Maine, graduating with a degree in English in 1970. After a series of odd jobs to support his family, he made his fiction debut in 1974 with the novel

Carrie, which launched his prolific career writing bestselling books like The Shining, It, The Green Mile, and many more across multiple genres.💥 With over 350 million copies sold, King is one of the most successful and influential authors of the 20th and 21st centuries, reviving interest in horror fiction on a grand scale.
